Private campsites & glamping in Ashford, WA

Ashford is the last stop before Mount Rainier's Nisqually entrance — a string of cabins, cafes, and outfitters along Highway 706. It exists for one reason: the mountain. Mounthaven Resort's cabins sit half a mile from the park gate, making Ashford the most practical basecamp for Paradise's wildflower meadows and the Skyline Trail.

The Nisqually entrance now uses timed-entry reservations on summer weekends — book park entry separately from lodging. In winter, the road to Paradise stays open (weather permitting) for snowshoeing, while the village itself goes quiet.
